Question: How to wear over the knee socks without looking slutty?

It's time you went to a better forum. All these young, fashion-less emo teenage girls say the same thing: uggs! cute converses! hollister! forever 21! You can do better than listen to them. ha. I have a pair of those as well and I always wear them on top of another pair of full lengthed socks to keep warm. Make sure the two pairs of socks' colors do not contrast too much, I would go with basic black socks, then a pair of colored knee lengthed ones on top. Then a pair of black, plaid shorts with a longer sweater on top. And finally a black coat that covers up part of my shorts.

Well what I do is wear a pair of blue-jean shorts not so short that it looks slutty but don't make them too long(I keep mine about 2 to 3 inches above my knees maybe 4 inches but for me that cutting it a little too short) a cute blue-jean skirt will do too. But same rule not too short but not too long.And then I wear a cute pair of sneakers maybe if I'm trying to be a little fancy I'll wear a pair of high heals!( NO open toe that looks weired!) Hope I helped a little!

I usually wear mine with skirts that stop only a little bit above my socks, but I've also worn them with somewhat loose capris that ended just below my knees.

It's all in the fabric!!!!! a thicker more intricate knit will take the promiscuity look right out of it. The trick is to avoid ones that are thin flimsy material, or crazy colors. Go with something like a rich color with thick stretch knit.

One thing to remember is if the bottom part of your outfit is short then wear a lot on the top (mini with turtleneck) and vise versa (tube top or tank with very long skirt.) This should help, so you can wear any fashion accessory you like without worries.
