Over The Knee Socks

Question: What shoes to wear with over-the-knee socks?

I LOVE the newest styles of the over the knee and thigh- high socks, but I can't figure out what shoes to wear with them. I've been wearing boots, but it seems "too much " on the leg, ya know? I don't think they look good with tennis shoes either because I'm usually dressed up more than just tennis shoes can handle. (I like to wear my long socks with my short denim skirts). What do YOU wear with your longest socks? What do you think looks best? Thank you for helping me with my fashion quandaries!!

I love high socks, I think they're so fun/ comfy. I usually wear them with boots, or for a more preppy look, flats. I also like them with high-heeled booties, or with a mini-skirt. I dont wear thigh high socks i wear the knee highs from juicy couture...i usually wear them with shorts and uggs in the summer bbut in the winter i wear them over skinny jeans with uggs hoped i helped <3:P

Defiantly converse. they were in style before and now are again. they go about 4 inches higher the regular shoes and look great with long socks

If you are more dressed up, then the way to go would be heels. They should be closed heels, so your toes don't show. You could even go with some flats if you don't want to wear heels. Otherwise, some vans would go great with over the knee sock for a more sporty look.

Try some flats with the socks theres a 50/ 50 chance they might work with the high socks.
