Is that acceptable for a 13 year old to wear out in public? Wow, is your family conservative or something? I don't see the big deal with socks and shorts like that. It's pretty damn acceptable.

As long as they aren't hookerish, then I think so. But the shirt would have to be a decent shirt too, to balance the outfit.

The first outfit is extremely adorable! You dress like I do hippie princess! The shorts are a little short, but it doesn't look trashy. Wear it! You look amazing! :)

I think it would be acceptable for a 13 year old to wear in public. Of course, school is different. If the dress code isn't strict then yes, I don't see anything wrong with that outfit. Looks really cute!

I don't think it's unacceptable, wearing over-the-knee socks with shorts just looks a little tacky. and Happy Holidays btw :)
