Question: Soccer socks???

Hey people... can you please help me... can high socks or knee socks be used for soccer? can it be used instead of real soccer socks so that it would be fashionable? i need answers asap... please... thank you... im a girl by the way... please help me...

Soccer socks are that long so you can pull them up to your thigh and then put on your shin guards and then fold the top of the sock down over the guard. The tightness of the sock pluss the straps for the shin guard help keep the guard in place and give you extra protection. Don't try to be fashionable.....be safe.

Yes knee high socks can be worn but if you wear shin pads under them - which is compulsory for soccer - it looks ALOT more stupid than normal soccer socks so it wudnt really be that fashionable! but if u wanna look funny - go for it!

You should be wearing shin and ankle guards (which are combined) for soccer. The sock should cover the whole of the guard to help keep it in position. The sock needs to be stretchy enough to do this so it's unlikely regular, 'fashionable' socks will do it.

Don't try to be fashionable unless you want to get hurt. Soccer socks are made for the sport and give more support than normal 'fashionable' socks. Plus the material is different on other types of socks, which could cause blisters because the amount of friction is more than your everyday stuff...

If there high you can double fold them and if there knee u dont need to fold them some people like the pressure of a double fold on their leg though as they play and fashionable?? c'mon ur playing soccer

I dont think so. Soccer socks are thicker than normal knee socks so that they can protect you better.

Try ribbons in your hair instead of sacrificing safety usually for a soccer team, the dress is same from t-shirt down, meaning shirt, shorts, soccer socks and cleats. that way the team looks together and uniform.
