Question: Is it ok for men to wear socks and sandals?

It's not so attractive. its also a bit annoying considering women go through a lot to look decent for men, but men just throw on whatever. people often get made fun of for doing this. i wouldn't recommend wearing that out..

Socks with sandals is never a good thing. if your feet are cold and you want to wear socks, dont wear sandals. wear shoes!

It's not okay for anyone to wear socks with sandals. It defeats the whole purpose of sandals, if you wanted to cover your feet why don't you just wear running shoes? Mind boggling.

Okay this depends on your age and were you live at. I live in Arizona and I'm 16 (girl:) and a lot of boys my age were long socks that go up to about their knees maybe a little down. well they were socks with some Nike sandals. That's what pretty much everyone at my school (even girls) And they wear cargo's with the sandals and socks. So it pretty much depends on your age and don't mind what people think about out you, what ever you do people are still going to talk about you >\ So don't mind what the other people that answered this question say do what ever make you comfortable(:

You get negative vibes because socks with sandals looks very bad. I agree with the girl above that says that wearing socks with sandals defeats the purpose of sandals. If you want to cover your feet then wear shoes!

It's all about temperature: If it's warm enough for sandals then it's too warm for socks. If it's too cool for your bare tootsies, then it's too cool for sandals and you need sneakers or some other casual foorwear. It's quite straightforward and really not a mystery if you look at it that way.

You should never wear socks with sandals. Sandals are supposed to be worn without socks; therefore, show off your feet.

The only time I find it acceptable when men wear socks and sandals is when they wear slides. Socks with slides actually look better than bare feet with slides. Other than that, go barefoot! If you think your feet look terrible, then fix it.
