Question: Are most sports socks mostly cotton?

I am just wondering are most athletic/ sports socks found in department stores such as Walmart, Roses, Target, or Kmart made of mostly cotton? I've never wondered about this until now. Yes but JAN, no socks are completely 100 % cotton. The sport ones I usually buy are 75 - 80 % cotton. Is that enough?

No they are not all made of cotton. You should read the package and make sure you are getting 100% cotton socks. They are much better for your feet.

Mostly as it is breathable and it absorbs mositure unless in the cold wear wool and nylon and other fibers come into play
